ASSAGAO & MAPUSA

We rented our scooters and travelled through this suburb in Goa called Assagao which has huge colonial bungalows with a lot of greenery around. The people are very friendly here..


We cracked up when we saw Rainer (a foreigner in India) taking this photograph..


It was so refreshing to take a break from our long scooter journey. Here we saw a cowherd managing his cows within the green pastures...We didn't want to scare the cows as they started heading our way and quickly jumped behind the nearest tree that we could find..From there we were actively taking photographs..

MORJIM

This is a soft-drink shack on wheels..


These fishermen come out in the evenings as it is too warm during the day to fish. Another reason being that in the evenings there are many more fish near the shore. It was very interesting to see the techniques used by these fishermen to fish.
